Not all surgical patients require a post-operative stay in bed. To accommodate such patients, Coney Island Hospital has one of the finest Ambulatory Surgery facilities in the metropolitan area.

Modern, comfortable Pre-Procedure Testing and Registration areas, as well as a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Recovery Suite, complement the innovative treatments and surgical skills of the experienced clinical staff. Preoperative work-up components include lab tests, electrocardiogram, chest X-ray, pre-anesthesia assessment, and nurse assessment.
