Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center

Coney Island Hospital takes pride in its Cardiac Diagnostic Center, with board-certified cardiologists available for consultations.

Now, we have added a modern Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center to help cardiac patients and those with pulmonary disease regain and maintain an optimal level of functioning. Rehabilitation is centered on a medically supervised, graded exercise training program. Other program components, tailored for each individual, include health education, nutrition, weight control, stress reduction, anxiety/depression management, sexual counseling and smoking cessation.
