Pediatric
The Pediatric Outpatient Department (OPD) serves over 100 children and adolescents per day. We provide both general and subspecialty pediatric care.
The general pediatric practice serves infants and children from birth to eleven years of age. We provide routine health care maintenance such as vaccinations, tuberculosis skin testing, blood work, as well as hearing and vision screens. Patients can see their own doctor on the same day if their child is ill. We have Board Certified Pediatrics who speak a variety of languages including Spanish, Urdu, Bengali, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese and Hebrew. The Division of Adolescent Medicine provides primary and consultation services for adolescents and young adults between twelve and twenty-one years of age. We have a separate waiting room and examination area for these patients because they are older and have different needs and health care issues. As in the General Pediatric Practice, the Adolescent Practice provides routine health care maintenance and urgent care for sick patients. Our staff includes three Adolescent Medicine providers and a physician’s assistant. Adolescent Medicine Physicians are all Board Certified in both General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Subspecialty services available by appointment include Pulmonary/ Asthma, Cardiology, Hematology/Oncology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, and Adolescent Gynecology. Our pediatric sub-specialists are Board Certified in General Pediatrics and their subspecialty.
