Audiology

The Division of Audiology in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine provides Complete Audiological Evaluations (CAE)s for children, adult, adult geriatric patients with suspected hearing loss.  Our Test Battery includes otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing which allows us to test young children and those patients who are considered difficulty to test behaviorally. We do not repair or dispense hearing aids.

Our approach to hearing loss is multidisciplinary.  A referral from a primary care physician to our ENT physician is required.  The clerical staff in our ENT Clinic will schedule your Audiology appointment.  We do not accept direct referrals.

Our Audiologist is licensed by the New York State Education Department and certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) (www.asha.com).  We will provide any additional assistance and /or referral information you may require.
