The Pastoral Care Department of Coney Island Hospital offers living proof of our commitment to treat the whole person and a testimony that Coney truly cares.

You can call Rabbi Max Schreier, our Jewish Chaplain, for information on daily and holiday prayer services.

Father Joseph Quigley, our Roman Catholic Chaplain, celebrates Mass Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon, Saturday at 4:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm. Call Fr. Quigley for information on Holy Day services.

Coney Island is the first HHC hospital to house a mosque and to serve halal food. Friday Jummah Prayer takes place in the mosque. You can call  Imam Muhammad Ibrahim, our Muslim Chaplain, for information on daily and holiday prayer services.

And through the diligent efforts of Meena Parikh, a Hindu prayer group now meets daily in the Hammett Building.
